Craft Beers at The Merrion Inn

Since it's such a nice day we thought we'd give you the low down of the craft beers available on tap in the renovated Merrion Inn M1 bar. All of the craft beers on tap are from Irish breweries except for 5AM Saint Amber which is Scottish!

  • Metalman Pale Ale:

American style pale ale, dark gold in colour with a delicate white head. Citrus and floral aromas lead into hop flavours characterised by grapefruit and mandarin produced by American hops. A dry bitter finish makes this an eminently enjoyable and refreshing beer. metalmanbrew

  • Barefoot Bohemian Pilsner:

This Bohemian Pilsner is just that, an unorthodox lager with complex biscuity malt, soft rounded bitterness and a twist of spice from the noble Saaz and Hallertau hops. This crisp and adventurous drop is perfect for a chilled out summer session…bliss. barefoot bohemian pilsner

  • Howling Gale Ale:

The Ale delivers a refreshing crisp smack around the gills. It pours a pale golden colour and the malty sweetness is well balanced by the American Chinook, Amarillo and Centennial hops. Howling Gale has a pleasant grapefruit and citrus aroma and goes well with fish, chicken or anything off the barbecue.Howling Gale Ale

  • Sunburnt Irish Red:

A traditional Irish style with a twist, it has subtle caramel notes balanced with a pleasant fragrant aroma from New Zealand and Australian hops. A mild and fruity beer with a lightly hoppy dry finish. A very pleasant easy-drinking beer. Goes really well with roast beef, lamb or a traditional Irish stew.Sunburnt Irish Red

  • 5AM Saint Amber Ale:

A nice dark, ruby-red colored beer with a slightly brown layer of foam. A strong, fruity, sour aroma of apples, and apricot or peach. Once this ruby liquid forms a foamy halo around your glass, you’ll never want to look back. 5am Saint Amber Ale
