What We’re Up To in August

We’re more than just a communications agency. We’re the tastemakers and tastebreakers and this is what we’re into this week…

What’s happening

We’re always looking to the latest social innovations to ensure our clients stay ahead of the game. We’re really excited at the recent developments with Instagram filters. Previously only approved creators could design and publish AR filters, but this has now opened up to market, creating endless possibilities for brands. Watch this space!

What we’re up to

We had the pleasure of organising the Bumble X Kehoe sisters event in the stunning Iveagh Garden Hotel last week. Most people are familiar with the female-first Bumble as the progressive dating app to counter Tinder, but there’s so much more to it than just hook ups. Bumble have launched their BFF function in app - allowing users to connect with other like-minded people for friendship. Through research, Bumble discovered 84% of Irish people can feel lonely, so they’ve worked to combat this. The sisters invited their crew for a night of fun based around best friends. We created a BFF night to remember with a DIY friendship bracelet station, tarot card readings from Penelope Austin and gorgeous cocktails from Míl Gin & London Essence.

What we’re loving

The issue of sustainability is never far from our minds. We’re constantly looking for little ways we can improve our practices and do our bit. We’ve recently switched our search engine over to Ecosia, who use their ad revenue to plant trees. It’s such a great resource that takes no extra effort when it’s up and running. What’s not to love? Check it out here

What we’re eating

It seems a week doesn’t pass by without another new restaurant opening around Camden St. We have our forever favourites (hi Pickle!) but love checking out the new spots on our doorstep. Our neighbours Press Up have just opened Doolally around the corner form our office on Richmond St, their stylish take on modern Indian cuisine. Taking inspiration from the India Ireland connection, their food story celebrates the authentic regional flavours of India whilst showcasing the best of seasonal Irish produce. See you there?
