Things to do in Dublin: Hunter's Weekend Picks
So they're saying there's a mini heat wave on the way....tell you what lets call it summer and pray that it stays or maybe call Danny Healy Ray and ask him what he thinks? *Sighs
So here's what's happening around Dublin Town this weekend.
Event: Darkness into Light
There's still time to sign up for this amazing event which is getting bigger and better each year!
Phoenix Park in Dublin and 110 other venues around Ireland and abroad will host walkers and runners from 4.15am and this year the swimmers have got involved too, As well as every province in Ireland, events are taking place in England, Scotland, Iceland, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Abu Dhabi and the US.
Darkness Into Light is the flagship fundraiser for suicide and self-harm charity Pieta House, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Click below for more information.
Movie: Son of Saul
Ok let's be very clear this is going to be an extremely difficult watch. Winner of the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar and Golden Globe, Son of Saul is Hungarian director László Nemes’ blistering debut feature, a courageous and unflinching re imagining of the Holocaust. By all accounts it's a must see. We're still mustering up the courage to go see it and we will soon.
Event: Fusion Sundays
Fusion Sundays is an international culture market with stalls from around the world, selling a range of handmade goods, arts and crafts, recycled products, jewellery clothes and food.
Event: Outdoor Yoga
Well it is the season. Every Saturday throughout the summer you can enjoy Outdoor Yoga Classes in Phoenix Park beside the bandstand right next to the Tea House by the entrance to Dublin Zoo.
They'll also be in Stephen's Green every Saturday. Check out the event herehttps://www.facebook.com/
