T’was the weekend before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse…....although this isn’t entirely accurate or true, we kinda wish we could go to a quiet place and be very still but we’ll soldier on! Places to be, people to see...... Movie: Star Wars –The Force Awakens There’s only one movie to watch this Christmas but we’re saying nowt, nada, zilch! Instead here’s one of it’s stars and all round dream boat Oscar Isaac singing the Star Wars Theme tune which was originally performed by Bill Murray in a sketch on Saturday Night Live many moons ago, in a galaxy far, far away….. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RS9LPPOIEZM     Event: Bernard Shaw Christmas Flea If you’re a last minute Nellie when it comes to shopping, then you might pick up something a little different at the Bernard Shaw Christmas Flea Market. Expect lots of art, craft and jewellery stalls. They’ll also be doing their bit for charidee and have organized a Food Drop for Crosscare who distribute food to over 60 charities around Dublin to homeless services and families below the poverty line. They’re looking for tinned meat and fish, tinned veg, tinned desserts, tinned soups, pasta, rice, sugar, teabags, instant coffee and biscuits, so bring a package or two.
