Music: Dark Secrets - Science Gallery 
On Friday the 9th of October, DARK SECRETS switches the Science Gallery into party mode.
As the days shorten and the darkness stretches, banish the blackness in a blaze of ultraviolet on a night of revelations and revelry as part of SECRET, with live music and DJ's curated by Hidden Agenda.

"Fassbender was born for this" declares the Telegraph in its 5 star review of "Macbeth" and it seems to be the general consensus. He and co-star Marion Cotillard put in some mesmerising performances, totally encapsulating the double toil and trouble of Shakespeare's play. The gory battle scenes, set in the dark misty highlands and a score from the director's brother also impress.
Btw- if you haven't already, please check out director Justin Kurzel only other feature film Snowtown, a tough watch but one that will stay with you for a long time.
Event: Smithfield and Stoneybatter Food Festival
The inaugural Smithfield and Stoneybatter Food Festival ‘Food in the City’ opens on Friday October 9th and runs until Sunday October 11th.
Over the weekend there will be tastings, special menus, brilliant banquets, boozy brunches, ensuring that your tastebuds are tantalised no matter what time of the day you drop into the area.
