What's on in Dublin this weekend
Friday is upon us again and that means making plans for the weekend ahead. We've hand picked the best bits and bobs happening around the city for you to enjoy. Art: Choice Choice is a poster exhibition featuring students, past and present, of Visual Comm in IADT. The aim of the event is to raise awareness around the Repeal the 8th campaign. There will be lots of great designs (we've even had a sneak preview of one) so one to pop in your diary. Providing the soundtrack for the night will be provided by Bobofunk, Aidan Moore and Sweet D. The event is tonight at Wigwam. Family Fun: The Great Irish Dog Walk Enjoy a walk around the perimeter of the DSPCA (Mount Venus Road, Rathfarnham) this Saturday with your dog, dogs, family, friends. The team at DSPCA will have a whole host of rescued animals for you to meet, plus enjoy the fun and treats from Dublin SPCA Dog Training with Kingofpaws. It's got it all really; a lovely walk, hanging out with dogs all day and helping support the charity at the same time. Music: Wallis Bird Wallis Brid brings her amazing self to The Grand Social on Saturday. This date comes ahead of her 2017 European tour in support of her forthcoming album, which is set for release this autumn. Can't wait for the album and can't wait for this gig.
