This week's round up of events from Hunter Comms HQ...

It’s Friday and we are feeling very festive in the Hunter office… and what better way to really kick off Christmas than a good ol’ seanchaí infront of an open fire. And that’s exactly what we did, when we headed to The Stag’s Head earlier in the week, for Bord na Móna’s cosy Seanchai event in aid of ‘Short Stories for A Long Night’, in support of Focus Ireland. Check out the great video from the night below, highlighting the evening's best bits. Short Stories for A Long Night Seanchaí of the night was Mundy, who treated a captivated audience to a few of his much loved songs, charming all through out the night. The mulled wine and hot whiskey were flowing, as the sing songs continued long into the evening, and all for a great cause! TV3’s Elaine Crowley, there to support the Short Story For A Long Night campaign, even got up to sing a few tunes with Mundy, surprising us all with her gorgeous voice! A woman of many talents... Highlight of the night was the pair’s duet of the beautiful rendition of Bob Dylan's ‘Make You Fell My Love’. In keeping with the festive cheer, Universal had a special screening for new musical comedy Pitch Perfect in CineWorld, Parnell Street on Wednesday. Check out the trailer here.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siEHekc-1oE The fahsionistas were out in force for the comedy, including gorgeous Irish model Irma Mali and Irish Times reporter and Fashmob blogger Rosemary McCabe. Rugby star Fergus McFaden also enjoyed the night, along with his stunning girlfriend Hazel O'Sullivan. The film starring Twilight's Anna Kendrick has catchy mash ups a plenty and is the perfect light hearted, laugh out movie to get you into the spirit of Christmas. Ho ho ho....
