Things to do in Dublin: Hunter's Weekend Picks
"Dearly beloved, We are gathered here today, 2 get through this thing called life" What a year 2016 is turning out to be - with so many of our musical heroes leaving us - first Bowie then Phife and now the one and only Prince Rogers Nelson. What a huge loss and legacy he leaves. A true original and immense talent. We expect and hope this weekend will be full of impromptu tributes to the Purple One- on the radio, in the club or in a front room near you. This video of Prince live in concert from 1982 has been watched a million more times since yesterday - we suggest you watch it too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAYQUbh8HHA&app=desktop Theatre: Tina's Idea of Fun Great to see the Abbey showing work from young Irish writers and this darkly comic play from Sean P Summers set in North Dublin during the Queen's visit to Ireland, captures the city's wonderful wit and characters.
