Deezer are back "Whitmore" expertise.

They say it was curiosity that killed the cat, and the music taste of a celebrity is definitely something that will raise this question mark. When Deezer decided it would be an interesting task to get celebrity editors to take the reigns, who better than a woman who has earned her crust working for the biggest music channel in the world. Laura Whitmore has become a household name in both the UK and Ireland since gracing our screens over 5 years ago, and is showing no sign of slowing down. You would be doing well to find a musician that Laura hasn't interviewed, or a festival she hasn't attended, and her love for music is something she has always been very vocal about. This week Laura visited the Deezer HQ towers to meet with Deezer's Irish editor James Foley, to discuss her pops, flops and guilty pleasures. When asked about her discovery and use of Deezer Laura said: “What’s great about Deezer and having everything in one place is that I can go back and check out something I haven’t heard in ages.  I was on holiday in Ibiza recently and the radio was playing loads of really random 90’s songs. I heard ‘You Oughta Know’ and immediately remembered how much I loved ‘Jagged Little Pill’, so I was immediately able to add it to my favourites and start my repeated listening of it!” Laura's eclectic selection of tracks, not only show she has her ear to the ground with current music trends such as Lorde, but a real love for classics such as Fleetwood Mac and Alanis Morissette. Her ten track playlist also shows loyalty to her roots as she champions James Vincent McMorrow's "Cavalier" and Two Door Cinema Club's "Sun".
